Biography

Music in Memoriam is affiliated to London Festival Opera and was formed in response to the growing requirement of music of a high standard for funeral services and memorial concerts. The company has presented music in a wide range of venues from parish churches in the town, country and city, crematoriums and larger venues including Bury St Edmunds Cathedral and Chelmsford Cathedral.

London Festival Opera has performed opera and music of the highest level from the intimate to the large scale across the UK and overseas with performances in London, Rome, Venice, Paris, Berlin, Hamburg, Lisbon, Monte Carlo and Moscow. The company has performed in the presence HM The Queen, HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and HRH The Prince of Wales, also at 10 Downing Street and Chequers as well as for The President of Malta and at the British Embassy in Paris.
